Dall-E 2 Prompt Book.

  1. The Graveyard: The current frontispiece. Roman and German weapons scattered on a field, with busts, too. Something suggesting chasing the Sun, like, Icarus, or something else. The Sacred Clown from behind (don't want to show his face, and definitely don't make it Murdoch). He and the rider looking at said field. You could put the field in the foreground, and the rider and Clown in the middle distance, ready to leave it. I don't think we should see the clown's face, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. Maybe an age-progressed Bobby the Coniugator :). The Rider is allowed to be shown, he could absolutely be a wojak, and one in a German uniform - stolen right out of MYTHOS. That's the one way I'd accept, to hearken back to the show.
  2. The Inconsistency of Man: /pol/-ish confusion over 'who is white?' The rider and the Sacred Clown in a forest. Them, fighting. The clown looking confused (although, I want to never show his face, so that's out. Ah, maybe it doesn't matter). A map of Europe with question marks on the different regions (not so good to look at, though. Or those 'average faces'). A nice abstraction where a head is in a confusing, rainbow space (continuity of 'white'). Two heads, arguing. I get the idea that 'the rider' may be /pol/, or the average /pol/ock (well duh I guess). The Clown's resolution is Ebba - her face (heh - her face on the horizon like in Neon Genesis Evangelion. In the background, maybe. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, I hope Dall-E can do this!). I do have Ebba's face, sideways - sort of small, and thus low-quality (https://vimeo.com/ebbasminnesfond - 'Ebba Spelar Pingis'). And am I abusing her? Should I limit myself to her MM-version face? She is the answer to MM's the Sacred Clown's puzzle. If not MM personally, at least artistically in here. Yeah, I should definitely art it up a bit if I use her face. And I have no idea how to inject my own images into the image generators' material. Maybe it's just as well, but then what? Maybe just the clown and the rider side by side. But I'll see what I can see. Maybe a confusion of white-ish faces blurring into each other, in a 'European continuum'. Sneakily sneak in Keith Woods' PCA map that shows Europeans as a distinct cluster? (I love the Ebba on the horizon idea - Ebba and an anime reference, all at once. And it's a positive use - maybe stick it in mid-chapter if nothing else.)
  3. The Old Pub: 'Freaks and saints, nationalists and vagabonds, capitalists and communists' (should be within Dall-E's ability). Flags? People with flags for faces arguing? (But flags-for-faces isn't attractive.) The clown introduces the complexity argument. I don't think I can really get into trying to illustrate the argument(s) itself / themselves. The dominant argument is the universe complexifying and knowing itself. Hard to show that, without being noisy and confusing. These are going to be small after all, something to bear in mind. But there's no reason we can't have multiple images per chapter.
  4. Aphrodite and the Lagoon of Nymphs: Sexual healing + inspiration. That young Christian smashing statues. The pornographer who likes to defile and destroy. But, no, no - too ugly. Aphrodite floats above, but, do I want two headers of her? I love the 'fourth punic war' image, 'her hair around her as though floating in water', so maybe save her for that. So what do, here? A crowd or cloud, of nymphs and fairies, of course. In the courtyard of statues? No - too busy. The chapter header will be small(!)
  5. Reckless Abandon and the Inner Mode of Being: Tame, vs wild animals: a tame, and wild (beaver? eagle? obviously eagle - maybe American eagle, since Murdoch brings America into it (wraps the American flag around his wrist iirc)) looking at each other. Obviously, the pair on the mountain, like is on the cover. A lightning bolt (on black), as the memetic key (that's not bad. That is worthy of thought even for a closing image). Germanic warrior on the battlefield. Maybe, for the wild man, use a picture of a Scythian, or Goth. Maybe the sacred clown jumping for his lightning bolt ("man in swastika cape jumping for lightning bolt" 'swastika' is probably a no-no word) (but that's more like a screenshot). "My fangs are connected to my heart." Growth: the longer we're out of the Semitic cage, the more our potential will be unlocked. (Love that - that should be emphasized more in the book.) You knoooooow, we could add more than one image per chapter - no-one will care if we relieve the text with more illustrations. Maybe a caged, and a wild / free human looking at each other. A wojak? Nah (why not?). A kid? A boyscout (a creature of endeavor and advancement and growth - to me, anyway) vs a nerdy gamer? A Hitler Youth? Brings too many other associations, might be taken as making a point that Murdoch is not. You have to be a political cartoonist for these things. Maybe I could commission Ben Garrison for one? Wonder how much he charges? That would be awesome.
  6. The Obfuscator: The city at a felt twilight. The soldier on the wall. Marx (it's later revealed that the man in red is Marx). The unfashionable painter. The police and negroes. The degeneracy pride parade. 'That which does not conform to his megalomania is ruthlessly stamped out and forgotten.' Time spent describing communism, stamping out Nature (that's really core). The natural dominance of the Seeker. The source of the Obfuscator's ugly spirit. It being all about the knowing. "You must rid yourself of supremacy" (! The book is a bit Nietzschean except for that line. In Ch 3 he has Aryan Man at the apex of Being). Then, the Nothing. Murdoch's choice of image for the header was 'The Nothing'. You could make it an ugly .. obfuscator. A weak, ugly obfuscator down in a pit crying about equality. On his back. How, crying? A sign? A t-shirt? Casting darkness around him, in a cloud... Weak, spindly, with a sign - easier. Someone who interferes. Hard to show an abstraction like that. Pulling the wool over people's eyes. Throwing sand? Pulling down a bigger, stronger man - maybe a statue. A crowd of semi-transparent ones doing this. Hard to show the Nothing. Could steal it straight from Neverending Story. Ehn, I don't want ugliness as chapter headers. I like the dominance of the Seeker, except that that's too much like, maybe, a first chapter idea.
  7. The Republiphant at the End of the World: the one that's there isn't bad. Should be easy to generate a 'warrior elephant', too. 'Israel awakes, hungry' (hard to show, and not the main idea of the chapter. But oh so *&%*&#% timely - more true now than when Murdoch wrote!).
  8. The Fourth Punic War: it's all Aphrodite explaining things to the clown. Floating above, her hair floating around her head as though in water (do not use Chan! :) ). There are many sacred weapons (musical instruments, paint brushes, computers, the sacred firearm, the rifle (dare I say sacred Wojak?). distinguishes Jew (by name) from Carthaginians. Introduction of the Sacred Sword, which has the Algiz / Elhaz etched into the pelpate. Goes on about it, the Gladius Hispaniensis. Needs to be here, even to the exclusion of everywhere else. Rider tumbles down cliff. "the wars between the Semite and the Aryan have been going on since the two forms converged. Long has it been held, that the Roman won the Punic wars. That in the end the Semitic state, Carthage, was lost forever. But in truth, it was the Semite who was victorious - for buried in the success of the Roman conquest of Carthage lay the seeds of its inevitable undoing." "But all is not lost - for the great awakening is now underway." Floating Aphrodite should be an easy one for Dall-E or the others.
  9. The Vampiric Bankers and their Great Anti-Semite: The undead forest. A castle is the easy choice. Inside might be cool, though. The Great Anti-Semite stage show. Jews' solution against the commies (at the cost of big vats of blood). Inside the vampires' office, marked-up maps. black curtains, bags of gold, rotting grain. (evidence that these vampires /are/ the commies - right?) Peasants giving Jews pots of blood (a very good image). Doable with some work I hope.
  10. The Red Dragon: A shaolin monk, maybe (even though that might be against their spirit). Or a cyborg Chinese martial arts guy - AI would do that just fine. (Liu Bei is not a cyborg, but it's the same idea.) The goblin on the monk's back in a basket (but it's not about the goblin). A shaolin monk riding a red dragon - now we're talking! Nah, seriously, though - just some cool looking martial arts Chinaman. Plenty of images of them, that should be easy. Him standing at the ready. Him bowing on a plain (giving respect = being worthy of respect) - with mountains in the distance.
  11. The Swamps of Sadness: first sight of Nihilism. Since the last chapter will be the sword (most likely), do Nihilism here. I don't want to show Ebba as Nihilism. The Pessimist saying to go back? A silhouette of Ebba? Black-and-white, distored outline maybe?
  12. The Return of the Aryan: Either the sword (Gladius Hispaniensis in a log), if I haven't done it earlier - 4th Punic war would be a natural place - OR, that chorus of Europeans in the sky. Would love that. A mid-chapter illustration, at least. It fits the title though, too. Either that or the disappearing dust of Nihilism. OR ELSE, a 'chase the sun' image (not literal, something evoking chasing the sun). Like that sonnenrad over the mountains. Either as the header, or as a final picture. (I like that idea better than the Hyperborean Sunrise picture.)
